I mention in the description that I "took some liberties with the design (like making it a laydee)" :> but as far as feasible theories about who it could be goes, I would side with it having been the guard as well.

Oh, sorry, I did not realize the 'Laydee' meant making it a 'Lady'. I thought that it was just a different art design. Besides, It could have actually been a girl in the game, with LoZ, who knows?
